Cowboys set for grueling travel schedule in 2026 — including a historic game in Brazil
The Cowboys will be one of the teams that will travel the most, as they will cover just over 45,029 km, including a trip to Brazil.

NFL teams have officially released their full 2026 schedules, and the Dallas Cowboys are among the franchises facing the toughest travel demands. Over the course of the season, Dallas will log just over 27,980 miles (45,029 km) — largely because they’re headed to South America for an International Game in Rio de Janeiro.

Cowboys heading to Brazil this season
For the first time since 2014, the Cowboys will play a regular‑season game outside the United States. Dallas will serve as the home team when they take on the Baltimore Ravens at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio. It’s one of the most anticipated international matchups on the NFL calendar.
Another date fans will circle immediately: the annual Thanksgiving Day showdown, this time against their NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dallas enters the season looking to bounce back after finishing 7‑9‑1 last year — their first campaign under head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
