Damien Harris injury update after Giants vs Bills clash
The Buffalo player had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital to be evaluated after a big collision with Bobby Okereke.
Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris was involved in a severe collision during the matchup against the New York Giants and had to be taken away in an ambulance early in the second quarter of the Sunday night game in the NFL.
Harris went down after colliding with Bobby Okereke and immediately players from both teams urgently called for medical assistance as the player remained on the ground. Something was clearly wrong.
The score was 6-0 in favor of the New York Giants when this unfortunate incident occurred at the Highmark Stadium. Once more was known, the Bills issued an update on social media.
“Injury update: Damien Harris (neck) is out for game,” it began. “He has movement in his arms and legs. Harris is being taken to hospital for further testing.”
We now await the full medical report on his condition, but a positive sign came as Harris was secured on the stretcher and just before being placed in the ambulance, as he managed to give a thumbs-up gesture to everyone watching with concern.
