New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams spoke to Kay Adams of the Up & Adams Show, broadcast on YouTube. In the latest episode, the 32-year-old opened up on plenty of topics, including not liking snow games, the Chiefs' current form, and hating one particular NFL side.

When discussing the imperious form of the Kansas City Chiefs and their recent run of games that has seen them look like favourites for the upcoming Super Bowl, Adams made his feelings clear.

‘It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of the Chiefs'

“You look at them the way everyone has to, they have one of the best teams in the league. We all respect winning, we get irritated by it because you want to knock them off, but it’s motivation and a sweet feeling when you do. They are usually the winning team.”

When quizzed whether or not he ‘hates’ their prominent position, Adams was quick to admit it: “I do hate that”, he replied.

I played for the Raiders, it’s not a secret that I’m not a big fan of the Chiefs”, he added before clarifying, “but I am a fan of teams that are dominant and find a way to win games and they do that.”

In their most recent game, against the Texans, controversial refereeing decisions saw the Chiefs come away with a win in a game that has sparked outrage among fans, pundits and everyone with two eyes and a hole for speaking underneath their nose. Rich Eisen even called for a complete overhaul of the way games are managed by officials.

As for the Jets, this season they finished 3rd in the NFC East, behind the runaway Bills and a solid Miami Dolphins team. Adams has 85 receptions for 1063 yards and a total of 8 touchdowns.
