From Bengals idol to repeat offender: new scandal sinks Pacman Jones again
News of another legal issue for ex-Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones broke over the weekend.

Former Cincinnati Bengals star Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones is facing legal troubles again after being arrested by police in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Jones, now 41, spent 14 seasons in the NFL and eight with the Bengals before retiring in 2018. He has been arrested multiple times in recent years and the latest alleged offenses were serious.
WHIO TV7 reports that Jones was arrested in northern Kentucky on charges that included assault of an officer, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was arrested on Friday night, booked into Kenton County Jail on Saturday morning and subsequently released on bail.

This is the third time that Jones has been arrested in the past two years. In 2023 he was arrested for alcohol intoxication, terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct at Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport. He pleaded guilty to one charge of disorderly conduct later that year.
He was also arrested last November after an altercation at AT&T Stadium, Texas. The incident came after the Mike Tyson - Jake Paul boxing match.
Jones even faced numerous legal issues during his playing career, including alleged involvement in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club alongside rapper Nelly. Although he was not charged with the shooting, Jones was ordered by a jury to pay $12.4 million in damages to Tommy Urbanski and Aaron Cudworth, two men injured when the gun was fired into a crowd.
During his NFL career Jones was subject to countless punishments and investigations from league officials. At one point commissioner Roger Goodell wrote a letter to Jones, warning the player that he had shown "a disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."
