Gronk’s blueprint for the Bills to upset the Chiefs: Gronkowski reveals two must-have strategies for Buffalo
Four time Super Bowl winner Rob Gronkowski gave his insight on what the Buffalo Bills need to do to end the Kansas City Chiefs run in the AFC title game

The Buffalo Bills are set for an AFC Championship match up against the Kansas City Chiefs who have had a strangle hold on the conference for the last seven years. Rob Gronkowski gave his insight on how the Bills can put an end to the Chiefs run for a three peat in the lead up to Sunday night’s can’t miss game from Arrowhead Stadium.
Gronk drops tip for Bills vs. Chiefs
The four time Super Bowl champion knows a thing or two about what it takes to build a dynasty and win multiple Lomabardi Trophies, and he shared his thoughts on how the Bills can put an end to the Chiefs bid for what would be a historic third title in a row. Gronkowski was part of the New England Patriots dynasty that is considered to be one of the best teams, if not the best team in the history of the league.
While talking to Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Vodcast presented by Fan Duel, the legendary tight end said that Josh Allen is going to have to make some magic happen on the offensive side of the ball, while the defense gets a couple of takeaways.
At the 26 minute mark in the show the future Hall of Famer detailed the way to win for the Bills. “Don’t turn the ball over, and they will have a chance to win the game.” Gronk went on to say they don’t just need to play safe, they need to go out and win the game with some big plays. “In order to beat the Chiefs, they are going to have to be one or two magical plays, where you’re going to be like ‘Wow, how did that just happen?”
Could Chiefs be G.O.A.T. team?
Josh Allen and the Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, but the MVP candidate had a subdued nigh in Orchard Park as Buffalo grounded and pounded the ball, making sure they kept control of the time possession battle. Allen ended the night with just 127 yards and no passing TDs although he did run the ball into the end zone twice. In the win, Allen completed just one pass that went more than eight yards down field, but the former Patriot and Buccaneer knows that’s not going to be enough to topple the Chiefs in Kansas City.
Gronkowski works for Fox as a studio analyst before, during and after the games. He will obviously have a vested interest in this game and the progress the Chiefs make considering KC is on the precipice of something that has never been done in NFL history, the three peat. That could very well bump the Patriots dynasty down the totem pole of NFL dynasties.
The Bills have played the Chiefs once already this season, and it was Buffalo that came out with the victory in Kansas City to hand the two time defending champs their first loss of the season. Allen had 262 yards, with 1 TD and 1 INT and came up with the game winning 26 yard TD run on a 4th and 2 play with under 2:30 to go in the fourth quarter. Gronk says if the Bills can come up with a few plays like that on Sunday, they will be representing the AFC on Super Sunday.
