With only a few days away from Super Bowl XVIII, Las Vegas will start receiving 49ers and Chiefs fans, but how much is a room?

It promises to be an exciting weekend in Las Vegas. Besides the traditional gambling activity in Sin City on a weekend, the fact that Super Bowl XVIII will be played there will likely translate into a special atmosphere due to the thousands of 49ers and Chiefs fans that are expected to arrive in the city in the upcoming days.

The Allegiant Stadium, with a capacity for over 65,000 attendants, will host the match between San Francisco and Andy Reid’s side, a repeat of the final that both teams played back in 2019 and that Kansas City ended up winning.

Fans who have never visited Las Vegas now have a good excuse to travel there, even if that means spending a large amount of money between the trip, the game tickets, and the accommodation.

How much do hotel rooms cost in Las Vegas for Super Bowl XVIII?

As expected, watching a Super Bowl game usually means forking some money out, but if the event takes place in the iconic Vegas, then it might be even more expensive.

Those fans who haven’t booked the accommodation yet should hurry up, as prices will go up as the clash gets closer and prices are already quite high.

Accommodation for the Super Bowl in Vegas could be 30% to 40% more expensive compared to the equivalent weekend in 2023 when the game was celebrated in Arizona.

According to Expedia, with a week to go for the match, rooms at five-star hotels like the Aria, the Bellagio, and The Venetian started at $1,500 or more per night and that amount is expected to increase quickly.

There are more affordable possibilities, like the Excalibur, for those who don’t want to leave the Las Vegas Strip, with rooms priced at around $500 per night during Super Bowl weekend. To avoid such prices, NFL fans might decide to stay outside the Strip area and find cheaper options. Some hotels are charging around $200-250 per night on Fremont Street.
