NFL’s Wild Card Weekend is well and truly upon us and we’ve got a clash between the once favored Miami Dolphins and the most definitely favored Buffalo Bills. In what’s set to be a winner-takes-all battle we’re giving you the low down on that sometimes-shocking aspect of the playoffs, ticket prices.

Bills & Dolphins set for an epic showdown despite missing stars

Despite the plethora of stars, we’re about to see in this huge AFC Wild Card matchup, the headlines in recent days have actually been dominated by the ones we won’t get to see. On the Bills side, it doesn’t matter where your allegiance lies, it was impossible not to be touched by the terrible situation involving Bills safety Damar Hamlin, the show of love and support that came after and the news that he’s since left hospital and returned home to Buffalo. Where the Dolphins are concerned, this year has truly been one in which they’ve had to overcome many difficulties, not the least of which was the multiple concussions suffered by starting QB, Tua Tagovailoa.

Yet, it has to be said that as damaging as Hamlin’s ordeal was to the mental state of the team, the structure of the Bills has remained largely unchanged as they head into this game on a 13-3 record and quite frankly, considered by many to be the team that will win the Super Bowl itself. The Dolphins on the other hand, have definitely seen their team shaken up. With Tagovailoa’s absence, they were forced to turn to backup Teddy Bridgewater, however, it would appear that fate does not favor Miami this year, as Bridgewater was soon sidelined by a finger injury. That has left undrafted 3rd-string rookie, Skylar Thompson, to fill the ominous void as they prepare to take on one of the best QBs around in Josh Allen and one of the best receivers in Steffon Diggs.
