Dolphins 20 vs 48 Bills sumamry, stats, score and highlights | NFL Week 4

Allen didn't even play the final few minutes of the fourth quarter. That's how in control the Bills were in the second half. Before heading to the bench he threw for 320 yards on 21/25 passing and four TDs, not to mention this 11 yard run to add to the Dolphins misery. 

Stefon Diggs completed his hat trick of TDs with his 13 yard TD catch after shaking his defender out of his shorts. He ended the night with 6 catches for 120 yards and three TDs. 

The Bills have the most takeaways in the league, and against the league's most high powered offense they forced Miami into a fumble and this Tua pick that Hyde was waiting for after the QB just let it sail over his receiver. 

Miami tried to mount a comeback out of the break, scoring a quick TD to start the third quarter but that would be the last time the Dolphins saw the end zone. Buffalo's defense locked them down the rest of the way and Allen would stretch the lead out even more in the final quarters 

This was all Diggs right here on this long TD catch and run. Watch him spin out of one tackle and break another for a 55 yard sprint to the end zone and his second TD of the night. 

Three drives, three TDs to start the Bills day. Allen wiggled right just enough to free up Diggs for the first of Diggs' three TDs on the night. 

Achane evened things up on the Dolphins second drive as both teams exchanged blows to start the game. Achane had two TDs in the first half, but that was the last sign of life we saw from the Dolphins in the first half. 

Cook got his piece of the pie with this TD from a yard out on the Bills second drive of the game. Cook ended the game with 12 carres for 29 yards, and the Bills had a total of 104 yards rushing. 

Neither team looked like they were going to be stopped in the first quarter. The Bills scored on their first drive and the Dolphins answered right back with a TD from De'Von Achane. 

Boy oh boy were there a lot of highlights in Buffalo on Sunday. Where do I start? I guess from the beginning with this TD pass from Allen to Gabe Davis for the first of his four passing TDs in the blowout win. 

IT'S ALL OVER FROM BUFFALO!!!

The Bills put a whooping on the Dolphins in Orchard Park and send a message to the rest of the league. They post 48 on a team that everyone thought could be the best in the league. 

The Bills will take a knee and run the clock out as they hand the Dolphins their first loss of the season!

Harris with the run on third down and he moves the chains with an 8 yard gain and that will bring us to the Two Minute Warning.

Harris is stopped for no gain as we go under 3:00 here from Buffalo.

Allen's day is done after going 21/25 for 320 and 4 TDs and add on another rushing TD!

Tua looks left to Wilson on the short pass and he had a lot of work to do to get the first down. Buffalo wraps him up to make sure Miami wasn't going to keep that drive alive. 

BUF get the ball from their 21. 

An offside on BUF will give the Dolphins another chance to convert the 4th and 18. 

Short pass to Smythe and he stumbles at the line of scrimmage and gets maybe three yards.

Tua took it all the up to about two yards from the marker, but a holding call will bring that play back.

Tua is sacked by Jones and that will bring up 3rd and forever!

After a false start, Tua goes with the Quick hitter to the flat for Waddle who gets three yards on first down.

MIA get the ball from the 20 and Tua finds Waddle over the middle and gets to the sideline and turns up field for a 17 yard pick up.

Allen over the middle for Sherfield who had to dive for the catch but couldn't come up with the reception and the Bills will punt for the second time today. 

Allen to the right side and finds Murray for a short gain of two yards on the right side.

BUF get the ball from their 17 and Murray is dropped for a two yard loss.

Tua is dropped by Rousseau, his second sack of the day, and the Dolphins give the ball back to the Bills with under 12 to go in the game. 

BUF has been flawless on both sides of the ball. 

Tua had Achane in the corner of the endzone but the pass was overthrown and that brings up 4th and Goal from the 8. 

Tua looking to Waddle in the endzone and that pass was a little to high for the WR.

Allen has the Dolphins defense on string right now. He's doing whatever he wants on the field today vs. Miami. 

Buffalo aren't taking their foot off the gas, Allen goes deep on 1st down and finds Davis for a 34 yard bomb as the third quarter comes to an end.

White was injured on the play and had to be carted off with a towel over his head, hiding his tears. Terrible to see after he pulled up untouched and clutched his foot.

The Bills bring pressure and drop Tua 8 yards behind the line on 4th down!

BUF ball on the MIA 45 and the Bills can close the door on the Dolphins on this drive.

Tua finds Barrios on the out route to the right side, and it looked like he stretched for the 1st down and got it but was marked short. 

MIA will challenge. 

Mostert is stuffed as soon as he got the handoff and Oliver was there to drop him for a loss of two.

Tua was looking for Chosen over the middle but the pass was high and fell into the hands of Hyde to took it all the way back to the MIA 25 after the 23 yard return. 

1st and 10 from the 25 with 5:03 to go in the third. 

Down by 14, Miami get the ball at the 25 and Tua was pressured by Johnathan who had him in his grasp but Tua threw it in the dirt before his knee hit the ground.

The MIA offense shut off to end the second quarter, but they bounce back with a big TD to Barrios right out of halftime.

Bass comes on and bangs home his second field goal of the day, this time from 33 yards out. 

BUF stretch their lead out to two TDs, up 34-20 with 5:21 to go in the third quarte.r 

Allen rolls to the left side, but nothing opened up and he ran it out of bounds after a gain of 4. 

4th and long and the Bills bring out their FG unti again. 

Allen is sacked, if my memory serves me right for the first time today, as Van Ginkle got him for a loos of 7.

Allen slides left and draws the defense up which allowed him to find Cook up the sideline for a 48 yard pick up!

Allen finds Kincaid on a short out route to the left side and the TE gets 6 yards and a first down.

BUF get the ball back from the 25 and Cook gets the handoff and takes it up field for 5 yards on first down.

Tua tucks it and runs to the left side and he scrambles for 4 yards.

Tua was under pressure and tucked it out of desperations but falls forward for a first down after a three yard scramble.

Tua finds Achane out of the backfield and he gets 7 yards after the pass to the flat.

Tua's pass to the left side was batted down at the line by Rousseau.

WE ARE BACK IN PLAY FOR THE SEOND HALF OF ACTION FROM BUFFALO!!!

MIA get the ball down by 17, and will start third quarter from the 25. 

Allen worked to get Diggs open on the first TD, but this was all Diggs and all heart as he shook off a couple tackles for his second TD of the game. 

It took a quarter and some change but you knew it would't take long for the Allen to find Diggs in the end zone. 

TD number two for Achane and the Dolphins offense was moving up until this point, but they slowed down and were forced to punt twice and fumbled once in their next three possessions. 

It wasn't long before Cook Barreled his way into the endzone from a yard out to give the Bills a 14-7 lead after their second possession. 

Miami responded with a quick hit TD drive capped off by Achane who took in his first of two in the half. 

The Bills came out hot and didn't slow down. Allen found Davis for the opening TD of the game. 

WE ARE HEADED TO HALFTIME AND THE BILLS PULLED AWAY IN THAT SECOND QUARTER!!!

Mostert gets the handoff up the middle and is stopped after 3 yards.

Barrios makes the catch over the middle and gets 7 yards on the slant.

Bass comes on for a 53 yard attempt and he bangs it through the up rights to extend the lead!

Mostert got the pitch and was eaten up in the backfield on 4th down and he fumbled it! BIlls recover from the MIA 31 with under 2:30 to go.

After a false start on the Dolphins backed them up 5 yards, it's Mostert who got the screen pass but was stripped after an 11 yard gain but the Dophins recover it to avoid disaster.

Allen hasn't needed to use his feet much today, but he shuffled to the right side which allowed him space to find Diggs in the endzone.

Here come the Bills, starting their drive from the BUF 21 looking to take the lead again.

Tua finds Barrios in the flat and he takes it 2 yards but Fins will have 3rd and long.

Tua throws it off his back foot and found Hil on the sideline but he couldn't get his feet in before getting pushed out of bounds.

Tua looped it down the right sideline and finds Mostert on the wheel route out of the backfield! He was double covered and went up and made the incredible catch for a 22 yard pick up.

It wasn't a pretty handoff but Cook made an adjustment and crossed into the endzone with a little help from Allen. 

The ruling on the field stands and BUF are perfect on their first tow drives of the day. 

Cook gets the carry again and he moves the gains with a 4 yard run up the middle.

Cook up the middle and he gets 5 yards to bring up 3rd and short.

Allen tucks it and runs, but was tripped up by his shoestrings after picking up 3 yards up the middle.

Murray breaks one up the middle as he finds a hole, skips over a tackle and is pushed out of bounds after picking up 29 yard gain.

Allen finds Kincaid over the middle and he picks up 9 and moves the Bills into MIA territory.

Quick pass to Knox to the left side and he stiff arms a defender and gets a gain of 12 up the sideline.

Wide open out of the backfield, it's Sherfield with the 9 yard pick up on the right side for another 1st down.

Allen finds Kincaid on a short out route that goes for 5 yards.

BUF start their drive from the 20 and Cook get three yards up the middle for a three yard pick up.

It took the Bills 4 plays to get down the field and score, and the Dolphins respond with a 7 play drive that was capped off by Achane. 

Ater an offside call on BUF moved the Dolphins up to to the 10, Achane gets the pitch and takes it 7 yards inside the five.

Crossing route from Hill and Tua hit him after the roll out to the right side for a 20 yard gain.

Tua going over the middle and Hill tipped it and it almost fell into the hands of Bernard for the INT but Waddle makes the adjustment and makes the catch!

Tua freezes the defense with a play action and finds Smythe wide open on the streak route for 22 yards

MIA start their day from the 23 yard line trying to respond to the Bills early TD. 

Tua finds Smythe on the left side for an 8 yard gain.

Davis always seems score when the Dolphins come to town, and Allen wasted no time getting him the ball in the end zone. 

Play action from Allen and he found Diggs on the left sideline after a comeback route and they will tack on 15 yards to the end of the catch after a personal foul for a late hit on the Dolphins.

Cook with the pitch to the right side and he goes for 2 yards on first down.

Murray gets the handoff from the shotgun on 3rd and short and he moves the chains with a 3 yard run.

Allen finds Kincaid on a quick pass to the right side for 7 yards.

Murray gets the handoff up the middle and he is eaten up after a short gain of two.

Allen finds Harty after going through his progressions and that pass to the flat goes for a gain of 3 and a first down.

BUF begin their first drive from the 25 and Cook dives right up the middle for a gain of 8.

WE ARE UNDERWAY FROM ORCHARD PARK!!!

The Bills will get the ball to start the game and there is Hamlin on the field on the return team. 

What an incredible sight this is. Damar Hamlin returns to the Bills only 10 months removed from nearly dying on the field in Cincinnati back in December. He has been given a clean bill of health and Hamlin should see some snaps today in the biggest game of the season. 

Today's odds

The Dolphins might be undefeated but they go into Orchard Park as three point underdogs and the Over/Under is set as 52.5. 

The over might be very tempting, but in all too many of these games between offensive juggernauts, the game ends up lacking in points. That doesn't mean I'm going to take the under, instead I am taking the Bills to cover at home. The Dolphins haven't played great teams just yet, and I think they get tested tonight. 

Waddle will play tonight

The Dolphins have the best one-two WR combo in the league. That is not up for debate. That’s a fact. Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle have been lighting up secondaries for the last few seasons in South Beach and as the weeks pass the chemistry only gets better and the offense gets even more explosive. Last week Jaylen Waddle missed the blowout win against the Broncos, but will be back for Miami today in Buffalo. Waddle will no doubt be looking up to make up for lost time and what would have surely been a TD or two against Denver last week.

Tua doing the double

I don’t thing there is any question of who the MVP of the first month of the season was. Tua is so far ahead of the pack that it’s hard to even come up with someone who could be considered for second, and honestly his teammate Tyreek Hill would probably be the next on that list. Through three games this season, he has 1,024 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions, What’s incredible, other than the sheer madness of those numbers is the fact that his stats are identical to the first three weeks of last season. 

Bills Mafia back at home

It wasn’t exactly how the Bills planned to start the season, but their Week 1 loss to the Jets might have served as a wake up call for a team that has been knocking on the door to the Super Bowl, but have yet to see it open. The city of Buffalo is desperately craving their first title in franchise history after four straight heart breaks in the Super Bowl back in the 90s. The belief in Orchard Park is that the Bills have the team to do it, but that has been the feeling for the last couple years. Bills fans will no better than anyone that you have to capitalize when you have the chance, because they don’t come around every few years. 

Fins up north

For some reason people came into this season questioning if the Dolphins would be able to replicate their incredible start to last season. Tua suffered a couple of scary looking concussions and the Dolphins offense never really recovered, but he came into this season healthy and Miami might look even more dangerous than they did last year. The defense is no doubt a question mark, but if they can keep up this pace on the offensive end all year they won’t have to worry about defense. 

Dolphins last week 

Miami didn’t just hand Denver an epic beating last Sunday from Hard Rock Stadium, they made history becoming the fourth team to score 70 points is an NFL game. They needed just a minute and twenty three seconds for Tyreek Hill to enter the endzone with a 54 yard TD catch and sprint. They didn’t slow down for the rest of the game. Tua Tagovailoa went 23/26 for 309 yards and 4 TDs, and back up Mike White had another touchdown on one of his two throws of the day. De’Von Achane had 203 yards rushing and two TDs on 18 carries as the Dolophins racked up 350 yards on the ground. They had a chance to break the all time single game points record but took a knee instead of kicking a field goal. 

Buffalo last week 

The Bills went into Washington and took on a Commanders team that was undefeated threw two weeks. Many people were using their game against the Bills to see if the Commanders were for real, and Josh Allen and the Bills answered that question with a thumping win over Sam Howell and Washington. Buffalo put up 37 points, but Allen had a normal day going for 218 yards and a TD with one INT. It was the defense that locked down the Washington offense, picking Howell off four times, one of those going for a TD, and sacking him nine times and holding them to a total of 230 yards. If it wasn’t for the Dolphins drubbing of the Broncos the Bills would have had the performance of Week 3.

We are live from Highmark Stadium

Hello everyone and welcome to Orchard Park where the the Bills are back home coming off of two convincing wins after their Week 1 overtime loss to the New York Jets. Their opponents weren’t the toughest over the last couple weeks, but their offense has ignited and the defense gave up 13 total points against the Raiders and the Commanders. The Dolphins are one of, if not the best team in the league, and their 70 point performance last week only confirms that. They crushed the Broncos on a historic day in Miami, but their only two wins over the Patriots and the Chargers came in one possession games so there are still questions about this team, especially on the defensive end. 

Dolphins vs. Bills 

It’s the Game of Week 4 and could be the game of the year from Orchard Park. We have an AFC East battle of the titans as the Miami Dolphins travel north to Buffalo to take on the Bills and AS English will be with you all afternoon providing live coverage, stats, highlights and analysis of this massive divisional battle.
