NFL fines Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins for behavior in Mexico game
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct in a Monday Night Football game played at Estadio Aztec in Mexico.

The National Football League has penalized Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for unsportsmanlike conduct in a Monday Night Football game in Mexico, which they lost to the San Francisco 49ers.
Hopkins was fined $10,609 for pointing his finger at and taunting the 49ers’ defensive backs.

The incident took place in the second quarter of the game at Azteca Stadium during an offensive series by the Cards, when quarterback Colt McCoy threw for Hopkins and he would get the First and Ten.
After this action the WR pointed his finger at 49ers defenders, including safety Jimmie Ward who made the tackle.
The referees threw the handkerchief and penalized Arizona with 15 yards. The game ended with a score of 38-10 in favor of the San Francisco 49ers.

DeAndre Hopkins wasn't the only one penalized in Week 11
In addition to Hopkins, other players who were fined during Week 11 of the National Football League included Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, who was fined $29,785; Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos, fined $15,914 for unnecessary roughness; while fellow Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton was slapped with a fine of $15,914 for an illegal block.
On the other hand, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was spared from any additional sanction, after being ejected in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals for hitting wideout Tylor Boyd with his helmet.
