We’re never going to agree on this, so can we all just admit that the NFL Top 100 is a bunch of some very fine players, remember that it doesn’t actually mean anything of real merit, and move on to the new season? No, ok then, let’s dive in and review who got the most votes from their fellow players in this, the 12th edition...
Brady, Donald, Rodgers... NFL Top 5 up for debate
Tom Brady coming in at number one won’t surprise many after the legendary, and almost retired, quarterback threw 5,316 passing yards, including 43 touchdowns! Even for him, that is impressive.
No doubt some had new ring wearer Aaron Donald nailed on to clinch it this year but neither he nor his namesake Aaron Rodgers could budge him, but coming in second and third respectively. Then we had Cooper Kupp and Jonathan Taylor making up the Top 5.
Is that what you’d have gone for? Many on social media were quick to voice their opposition with shout-outs in particular for the likes of Patrick Mahomes (in at 8 after topping the lot last season) and Josh Allen (13!)

Who has been picked NFL No. 1 the most?
As stated earlier, this year is the 12th time that the NFL Top 100 list has been voted on and compiled. In those years, and taking this edition into account, Tom Brady has topped the voting four times.
No other player in that time has been voted in at No. 1 more than once, as you can see from this table.
