Patrick Mahomes makes a promise to fans: This is what the Chiefs' QB told reporters
The Chiefs’ QB made his worst throw in the AFC Conference Championship after giving his team the lead on a 10-yard TD run. He laughed it off at the Super Bowl media day.

It wasn’t pretty, actually it was pretty funny and on Monday night in New Orleans Patrick Mahomes was big enough to laugh about his horrible touchdown spike last week against the Buffalo Bills. It was a big moment in the game for the Chiefs and the TD deserved a viral celebration. The celly went viral, but for the wrong reason:

In New Orleans on Monday at the press event now called Super Bowl Opening Night (previously Media Day), Mahomes got asked about the embarrassing attempt to spike the ball:
“I probably will never try to spike the ball ever again,” Mahomes said. “That was so bad. And it was such a cool play that I feel like I’m going to see a lot in my life and I’m gonna have to look at that spike every single time. So I’ll never try to spike the football again.”
It’s great to see No. 15 be able to laugh it off and for football fans to see that he is “one of us.” Well not quite that, but no one’s perfect, not even Mahomes, who is on a mission to make the Chiefs the first NFL team to achieve the threepeat in Super Bowl LIX.
