Patriots star goes barefoot in freezing conditions for snowy Bills trip
Mack Hollins of the New England Patriots braved the winter conditions to continue his no-shoes tradition.

Cold weather swept across the east coast of the United States this weekend, pushing the temperature below freezing for some of the Week 15 NFL games.
Across the league players, coaches and fans were wrapping up warm against the cold, but one player continued his bizarre practice of going shoe-less, whatever the weather. New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins is known for walking into stadium barefoot, claiming that it benefits his health and durability.
This weekend the Patriots took on the Buffalo Bills in freezing conditions in Foxborough, Massachusetts. There was snow around Gillette Stadium ahead of kickoff but Hollins still went barefoot - and shirtless - for his arrival.

Hollins has previously explained why he favors a bare foot when he arrives at stadium, revealing that it is part of an effort to implement “original ways of movement” in his life.
“It started six or seven years ago. I guess it started when I was a little kid, but restarted about 6-7 years ago,” he told CBS Boston. “I met some trainers called Melbourne Muscular Therapy in Australia. I flew them from Australia to Philly. They showed up and the way you look at me is the way I was looking at them. They were walking around Philly barefoot. I thought they might have sent the wrong guys out here.”
“But that was their philosophy, being barefoot and getting back to your original ways of movement. That grew into me training barefoot all the time for two or three years.”
