Puka Nacua in trouble again: The Rams WR denies biting woman, making antisemitic remarks
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was accused of serious allegations by a woman after a December incident, but is so far denying all claims.
Off-field controversy is once again surrounding Puka Nacua, as the Los Angeles Rams star denies a series of troubling allegations stemming from an incident late last year.
According to reports, a woman has accused Nacua of making an antisemitic remark and engaging in inappropriate physical behavior during a group outing in Los Angeles. However, the wide receiver, through his attorney, is pushing back strongly against those claims.
Allegations detailed in restraining order request
The accusations come from a woman who filed for a temporary restraining order related to an alleged incident on December 31 in the Century City area of Los Angeles.
In the filing, she claims that Nacua made a profane antisemitic comment during dinner, describing it as the beginning of what she characterized as escalating inappropriate behavior throughout the evening.
She further alleges that after the group left dinner and entered a vehicle, Nacua became “touchy-feely” and later bit her friend’s thumb and her shoulder, allegedly causing injury. The woman says she reported the incident to police the following day.

Nacua’s attorney denies key claims
Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, has denied the most serious aspects of the allegations. According to statements provided to media outlets, the alleged antisemitic remark is “completely false”, with the attorney saying witnesses did not hear Nacua make such a statement. He also said the physical incident, including the alleged bite, was characterized as “horseplay” rather than intentional harm

McCathern has also indicated that Nacua may pursue defamation action against the accuser.
A judge in Los Angeles rejected the woman’s request for a temporary restraining order, though the matter is not fully resolved. A court hearing is scheduled for April 14, where the claims could be further examined.
This situation adds to a growing list of off-field issues for Nacua in recent months. In December 2025, the Rams receiver faced backlash after making comments during a livestream appearance with Adin Ross, where he referenced an antisemitic-themed touchdown celebration.
Nacua later issued a public apology, stating he was unaware of the harmful nature of the reference and expressing regret to the Jewish community.
The controversy comes at a pivotal moment in Nacua’s career. The 24-year-old is coming off a breakout season with the Rams, emerging as one of the league’s top wide receivers and positioning himself for a lucrative future contract.
