Should I start CeeDee Lamb in fantasy Week 2? The Cowboys WR’s fantasy outlook vs Giants

Update:

In the Dallas Cowboys’ season opener last week, they suffered a brutal four-point loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s three dropped passes at crucial moments contributed to the loss.

So what’s his outlook for Week 2 if he’s on your fantasy team?

CeeDee Lamb’s Week 2 Fantasy outlook

Despite the dropped passes, Lamb still had a pretty decent day as far as fantasy points go. He had seven catches for 110 yards and was targeted 13 times (more than any other player by far) by quarterback Dak Prescott. He ended up with 18 fantasy points.

In Week 2, Lamb is definitely going to be looking to prove himself and make up for his faults in the season opener. And against the New York Giants at home, he should have plenty of opportunities to do so. Historically, Lamb performs well against the Giants, and he should see plenty of volume again this week.

There is a reason Lamb was ranked as one of the top receivers to draft in 2025 fantasy leagues, and he should be a safe start against New York in the Cowboys’ home opener.
