Stafford done for the season, Aaron Donald out; Rams remain injury-riddled
With Matthew Stafford placed on IR and defensive end Aaron Donald out, the Rams go into Sunday’s game vs Seahawks without two of their best men
The Los Angeles Rams have been dealing with persistent injuries all season, and have now lost their number one quarterback, Matthew Stafford.
Stafford was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, effectively ending his season, due to being plagued by concussion protocol issues.

Why is Stafford likely not making the rest of the season?
Even though Stafford cleared the League’s brain injury protocol, he still has lingering issues to his neck that are keeping him away from the field.
And while injured reserve rules typically allow players to return after four games, the Rams only have six games left in the season and little hope for the playoffs. That’s why the longtime Lions quarterback is effectively out for the 2022 season.
John Wolford will start for Los Angeles, who host the Seattle Seahawks in a divisional battle on Sunday.

More injuries for the Rams
Meanwhile, the defending Super Bowl champions have their hands full with other injuries; Cooper Kupp had surgery on his ankle and Aaron Donald is missing Sunday’s game against Seattle.
