Halftime show Super Bowl LVII 2023 live

The Super Bowl is by far the biggest American sporting event on the calendar, so it should come as no surprise that tickets to the NFL’s biggest game will cost you an arm and a leg. Add to that, the fact that you’ve got two of the league’s best teams - the Eagles and the Chiefs - both of whom have massive fan bases and you can imagine, that the demand for tickets to go to State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona are very expensive. Yet, how much is too much?

How Much Are Super Bowl LVII Tickets?

According to Ticketmaster at the time of writing, the cheapest ticket available for the Super Bowl will cost you $5,795, however, it’s important to note that the price increases to $7,127.85 once taxes are included. As per the NFL’s official ticket marketplace, that price will seat you up in Section 436 in Row 19.

If on the other hand, you’d like to get a better view of the action, then prepare to offer up your first born, or at the least a whole lot of cash. As things stand, the most expensive standard-seating Super Bowl ticket i.e., those which aren’t at club level or combined with additional perks, will set you back $43,050 with taxes included. For that price you will sit in Section 108, Row 2. Where the aforementioned club level seats are concerned, they range from just below $10,000 to more than $30,000 depending on where in the stadium they are situated. In case you’re wondering, the average ticket price for the game is approximately $6,076. It’s also worth mentioning, that other sites such as Vivid Seats, StubHub, and SeatGeek have re-sale tickets listed at lower prices, but not by much.

What kind of perks come with a Super Bowl ticket?

At the very least, you do get some add-ons when you buy a ticket. Indeed, packages that can be combined with ticket purchases include On The Fifty, Club 57, Champions Club, and Touchdown club, all of which provide a number of perks depending on the package in question. These include, but are not limited to premium food and beverages, pregame events such as live musical performances, as well as post game field access where one can mingle with the players themselves.

Why Are Super Bowl Tickets So Expensive?

As is always the case when it comes to business, it’s all about supply and demand. We’re talking about the most watched broadcast on American television, which understandably brings with it an unreal demand for tickets given that only a finite number of individuals can fit inside the stadium. Ultimately, if folks are willing to pay top dollar for a top tier event, prices will go up. Yes, it’s true that attending the Super Bowl is a once-in-a-lifetime experience but truth be told, the significant price increase over the last few years has created a situation, where only a small percentage of the American public can actually afford to watch the game. None the less, you’ve still got family, friends and of course here on AS USA, with whom you can enjoy the game. With that in mind, be sure to stay with us in the lead up to the big game and of course on February 12th itself as we will be bringing you the action live.
