Super Bowl 2025: What color was the Gatorade shower for Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni?
The Gatorade bath has become a tradition at the end of the Super Bowl so much that it’s become a betting trend. Here’s the color dumped on the Eagles coach.

Even before the Philadelphia Eagles officially beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the Gatorade flowed atop the head of Nick Sirianni.
The “Gatorade shower” has become such a traditional celebration that it’s even a huge prop amongst bettors - what color will the Gatorade be after the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LIX’s Gatorade shower
Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, the betting favorite for the Gatorade color was purple, as it was the color the Kansas City Chiefs poured on head coach Andy Reid the last two years in a row. However, when they won their first Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes/Reid era five years ago, the color was orange.

When Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was given the Gatorade shower after their NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders, the players chose the traditional yellow-green color to pour on his head. So of course, that color was the second-favorite amongst bettors.

As it turns out, the Eagles won and the green/yellow Gatorade bettors won too, as the Eagles players threw the lime drink on Sirianni’s head in celebration of their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs.
