Taylor Swift at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore for Chiefs vs Ravens
The singer is at the game to cheer on her boyfriend, the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, who is playing in the Championship game against the Ravens.
Taylor Swift is at the M&T Bank Stadium to watch tonight’s AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens. She’s attending the game with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick. Kelce’s brother Jason is also expected to be there, along with mom Donna.
The ridiculously famous singer is supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift and her entourage went wild when Kelce scored the first touchdown of the game after seven minutes.
Swift landed in Maryland just after 1pm, and got off her private jet and into one of a number of SUVs waiting for her.
Ravens favourites over Chiefs
The Baltimore Ravens are favourites to win the game, although the Chiefs are the defending champions.
A win tonight the Kelce and the Chiefs would see Taylor Swift presented with an interesting logistical problem for the Super Bowl, given she’s playing her Eras tour in Tokyo the night before the Super Bowl, on February 11 in Las Vegas. It would presumably be time to get the private jet fired up again…
John Harbaugh is kind of sort of a Swiftie
Try as you might, there isn’t really a way to afford the phenomenon of Taylor Swift, something that Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh learned earlier this week when speaking in a press conference. Asked if he had given thought to the Swift effect, Harbaugh responded with a laugh before explaining that it was far from his mind. “No, I haven’t been distracted by that at all. Hasn’t really crossed my mind at all. I can’t say it has,” Harbaugh said.
Interestingly he did concede that he was a listener. “I’ve got some Taylor Swift songs in my phone,” he said. At that point Harbaugh was asked “Might they be deleted this week?, to which he answered with a question. “No, what does that have to do with it?” The coach was then faced with “She’s dating the opponent,” at which point he pushed back. “Is it time to end this press conference?”
