Travis Kelce could be on his way to winning yet another Super Bowl, but will Taylor Swift be in New Orleans?
It’s been this way for a long while, but now, just hours before the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, the spotlight is still on a certain star: Taylor Swift.
The pop sensation has been on the lips of people the world over for what seems like forever, as her insanely successful ‘Eras Tour’ took to various countries across the globe in what was a home run in terms of media and financial success.

As well as being the world’s most talked-about pop star, she’s also the girlfriend of the High School jock, the cool kid in class: the Chiefs' one and only Travis Kelce.
Just a quick search on social media proves the point that Swift is stealing the spotlight: well over a million impressions fly in your face for the top tweets she is mentioned in, while the current highest-performing posts on Kelce only refer to a Teen Vogue article that takes aim at his pro-President comments; it also mentions Swift within 3 lines of writing.
Will Taylor Swift be in New Orleans?
Almost certainly. We’ve even had speculation that she could drop down from the VIP suites onto the field to sing, but that was quashed by party-pooper Patrick Mahomes: “As long as Trav’s playing and we’re in the Super Bowl, it’s going to be hard for her to do the halftime show,” he told reporters. “So hopefully Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl.”
While this comment from Mahomes rules her out performing with Kendrick Lamar, it all but assures the Swifties that their queen will be attending the upcoming event. There are also rumours of a potential post-Super Bowl proposal, but we’ll have to wait and see...
