In the 2024-25 NFL playoffs, the Buffalo Bills welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Highmark Stadium today.

Local music student Lucas West is to sing the US national anthem at Highmark Stadium today, before the Buffalo Bills host the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL postseason’s Divisional round.
Who is Lucas West?
West, who is a junior at the SUNY Fredonia School of Music, will be performing at a Bills home game for the second time, having also sung “The Star Spangled Banner” before a regular-season clash against the New York Jets in November 2023.
“Bills Mafia my favorite fan base”
A former contestant on the reality-TV singing competition American Idol, West told SUNY’s website: “I am so humbled by and grateful for this opportunity. I had such a blast singing at a regular season game last year, and I’m so thrilled to do it again, this time on the playoff stage!”
In an interview with News10NBC, he added: “Leading up to the performance, it’s very nerve-wracking. But when you’re there in the moment, it sort of just feels like you’re singing for your family.”
“Bills Mafia is very much my favorite fan base in the NFL and I think when you’re singing in front of 70,000 of them it feels like just one.”
