This decision was made in response to the severe wildfires currently ravaging the Los Angeles area, which have created hazardous conditions and compromised air quality.

The wildfires, driven by strong winds, have caused widespread damage and posed significant health risks. Although SoFi Stadium itself remains unaffected, the surrounding areas have been heavily impacted, making it unsafe for the game to proceed as planned.

In light of these circumstances, the NFL, in consultation with public officials, the participating teams, and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), decided to move the game to ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans.

When will the Vikings play the Rams?

The game is now set to take place on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the game live on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN Deportes.
