Widely considered the vote for GOAT in the NFL’s history, the legendary quarterback is about to take hits of a different kind.

Tom Brady to be roasted on Netflix

According to an official announcement from Netflix, Tom Brady will be the ‘roastee’ in the premier episode of an upcoming Netflix special series called “Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT.” The seven time Super Bowl champion is actually the executive producer of the series and will get things started when the series airs in 2023. “To quote my good friend, Marshawn Lynch...’I’m just here so I won’t get fined,’” Brady said recently in press release where he was referred to as “Gisele Bündchen’s husband” as well as “sixth-round NFL draft pick.”

Netflix can’t wait roast Tom Brady

Speaking on the upcoming TV event, Netflix vice president of stand-up and comedy formats Robbie Praw couldn’t hide his excitement. “We can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast,” Praw said.” In all seriousness, it’s a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. No one’s better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady.”

Tom Brady is top tier

Though it’s hard to believe especially when looking at how he still plays, Tom Brady has been in the NFL for some 22 seasons. Most recently Brady took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in 2020 to claim his seventh championship ring while simultaneously cementing his claim to the title of ‘Greatest of all Time.’ Interestingly, Brady announced his retirement this past January, but shortly after - in March - the 44 year old quarterback walked back on his decision and promptly announced that he would return to the Bucs for another season. To date the play-maker still leads the NFL in career passing yards and touchdown passes.
