The Dallas Cowboys have still not given their star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb the contract extension he’s asking for, and so CeeDee Lamb has still not shown up to training camp. Lamb held out of OTAs in the Spring as well, and will continue to hold out until the deal is done.

After Jerry Jones said there was “no urgency” to get the deal done, that stirred up some drama when Lamb replied “lol” on his X account. Jones later clarified that he wasn’t worried about getting Lamb onto the playing field for the preseason, as he and the rest of the starters would be on the sidelines anyway.

Still, it creates panic among fans when the star of the team doesn’t show up to training camp. Could he remain holding out even when the regular season starts? It’s unlikely. A deal is sure to get done. So go ahead and draft CeeDee Lamb number one overall on your fantasy team. One man did, and he definitely doesn’t regret it.

CeeDee Lamb surprises NFL fantasy player who picks him No. 1 overall

One man got the top pick in his fantasy league and they went with a live draft. The man tried to trick his league mates into thinking he was going to pick Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

He came out in a robe holding a Tyreek Hill jersey and saying that he’d be choosing “the best receiver in the NFL for his top pick” before revealing a CeeDee Lamb jersey underneath the robe. Little did he know, his friends knew he’d be choosing Lamb and actually got the receiver himself on a Zoom call.

When the man realized CeeDee Lamb was on a video call, he said, “oh, sh**!”, ran over to stick Lamb’s name on the draft board, and immediately told him what every other Cowboys fan is thinking right now, too:

“Yo, CeeDee, what up bro. Jerry gotta pay you man.”
