Watch Jerry Jones land helicopter in the middle of Dallas Cowboys practice field
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones interrupted practice on Wednesday to land his helicopter on the field.
Everything Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does has to be done BIG. Just look at AT&T Stadium. And now...this: landing his helicopter in the middle of the Cowboys’ practice field.
Jones arrives to Cowboys practice in style
As the Cowboys were practicing on Wednesday, they heard a loud noise above them. They looked up to see a Dallas Cowboys-branded helicopter preparing for landing right where they were practicing.
Newcomer defensive end KJ Henry, who the Cowboys recently signed to help out while DeMarcus Lawrence recovers from injury, had to ask: “Immediately, I was asking guys, ‘Is this an everyday thing?’ I mean, this is real Dallas-like.”
No, it’s not an everyday thing, but it was a nice way to welcome him to Texas, where everything is bigger, as they say.
As Jones made his dramatic entrance, quarterback Dak Prescott faked a pass to the 81-year-old owner. Jones then got out and greeted the team.
The Cowboys are preparing to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road on Sunday night after beating the New York Giants last week. They’re looking to improve on their 2-2 record.
