Gardner Minshew’s failed physical
Minshew played his last game for the Raiders in Week 12, when he fractured his collarbone in a game against the Denver Broncos. The injury kept him on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
The fact that the Raiders designated him with a failed physical could mean that the collarbone is still not fully healed, or that he'‘s potentially dealing with another injury.
Minshew played in 10 games last season with nine starts and completed 66.3% of passes for 2,013 yards and nine touchdowns to 10 interceptions.
On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs signed Minshew to a one-year deal as the backup quarterback to Patrick Mahomes.
