Will Davante Adams play for the Rams against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football?
The wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams is doubtful for the team’s upcoming game.

The pressure is on and the clocks in Los Angeles appear to be ticking faster than the rest. The Los Angeles Rams are heading into a pivotal NFC West clash with the Seattle Seahawks this Thursday night under less-than-ideal circumstances. Two major issues, an injury to star wide receiver Davante Adams and a travel delay due to aircraft trouble, have added uncertainty and drama around the Week 16 matchup.
Adams, one of the league’s most prolific receivers, is officially listed as doubtful (at the time of writing) to play against Seattle after suffering a hamstring injury late in Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions.
The 32-year-old has also been dealing with a knee issue, compounding concerns about his availability for one of the season’s most consequential games.

“We’ll take it all the way up to game time”
Head coach Sean McVay has so far been cagey about Adams’s timeline, leaving the decision until closer to kickoff: “We’ll take it a day at a time with those guys,” he told reporters on Wednesday. “... We’ll take it all the way up to game time and see where they’re at.”
Adams, who has 60 receptions for 789 yards and a league-high 14 touchdown catches in 14 games, leads the NFL in touchdown catches this season and is a focal point of the Rams’ offence, making his potential absence a serious concern.
In a development unrelated to the playing surface but still disruptive, the Rams endured a significant flight delay as they tried to travel to Seattle. Equipment issues with the team’s aircraft forced a switch to a different plane and disrupted their original travel plans. While it may seem banal, small change to a team’s schedule can indeed disrupt pregame scheduling and rest time.
