Will Trevor Lawrence play for the Jaguars against the Texans in week 13? Latest injury report
The starting quarterback for the Jags would give them a huge boost against a tough opponent.
The Jaguars are not purring this season, instead they are sat rock bottom of the AFC South, licking their wounds with a sorry 2-9 record as we enter Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season.
The road has been bumpy all year for the side, with various injuries keeping key players out with none more significant than their starting quarterback, Trevor Lawrence.
Playing without the 25-year-old has hampered their ability to take games by the scruff of the neck, or, as a Jaguar does, through the skull.
However, things might just be looking up in time to give them a boost ahead of the seasonal period, with reports emerging that Lawrence is not only fit but expected to play for his side when they go up against the Houston Texans in Week 13. He is listed as questionable, but the rumour mill is indeed spinning ahead of kick-off.
'I would say as of right now, yes. He will play'
“Yeah, I mean, he’s had a good week. He’s obviously done some really good things this week. I would say as of right now, yes. He will play,” head coach Doug Pederson said. “We’ll get through today, Friday, Saturday, but he’s had a good week.”
However, if we’re being realistic, the Houston side are 7-5 this season and should be able to trample the Jags with our without Lawrence in the lineup. Things have not gone smoothly for the Texas team but things have certainly gone a lot better for them than their opponents.
The Jags go up against the Texans on Sunday 1 December at 1pm ET at EverBank Stadium.
