The Winter Olympics roll on - and this Wednesday, on Day 5 of the 2026 Games, medals will once again be on the line in a number of events.

Chief among the U.S. athletes in action are the figure skaters Madison Chock and Evan Bates, who will chase the Olympic title in the free dance final.

Chock and Bates are out to win gold for the second time at Milan-Cortina, having already tasted victory in the team event.

Winter Olympics schedule for Feb. 11 (medal events in bold):

  • 3:10 a.m. - Nordic combined: Gundersen normal hill, trial round
  • 4:00 a.m. - Nordic combined: Gundersen normal hill, competition round
  • 4:30 a.m. - Skeleton: Women’s official training
  • 4:30 a.m. - Snowboard: Women’s halfpipe qualifying
  • 5:00 a.m. - Freestyle skiing: Women’s moguls, second qualifying round
  • 5:30 a.m. - Alpine skiing: Men’s super‑G final
  • 6:30 a.m. - Skeleton: Men’s official training
  • 7:30 a.m. - Nordic combined: 10km cross‑country final
  • 8:15 a.m. - Biathlon: Women’s 15km individual final
  • 8:15 a.m. - Freestyle Skiing: Women’s moguls finals
  • 10:40 a.m. - Men’s ice hockey: Slovakia vs Finland
  • 11:00 a.m. - Luge: Women’s doubles, first run
  • 11:51 a.m. - Luge: Men’s doubles, first run
  • 12:30 p.m. - Speed skating: Men’s 1,000m final
  • 12:53 p.m. - Luge: Women’s doubles final run
  • 1:05 p.m. - Men’s curling: Sweden vs Italy, Canada vs Germany, Czechia vs United States, and China vs Great Britain
  • 1:30 p.m. - Figure skating: Free dance final
  • 1:30 p.m. - Snowboard: Men’s halfpipe qualifying
  • 1:44 p.m. - Luge: Men’s doubles final run
  • 3:10 p.m. - Men’s ice hockey: Sweden vs Italy
