Reigning champion Nelly Korda is the bookmakers’ favourite to win the women’s Olympic golf tournament, as she bids to complete an American double at the Paris Summer Games.

Team USA’s Scottie Scheffler took gold in the men’s competition at Le Golf National last week, earning his first Olympic title by finishing one stroke ahead of Britian’s Tommy Fleetwood.

Korda, the women’s world No. 1, is rated at +450 to claim a second straight Olympic crown, per Oddschecker. She is followed by Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul (+850) and fellow American Lilia Vu (+900). Rose Zhang, who completes the USA’s three-woman line-up in Guyancourt, is priced back at +1600 to win gold.

Korda “living out my dream” at second Olympics

“Doesn’t really feel like I’m defending, really,” Korda said ahead of the tournament, which gets going on Wednesday. “I’m just going to go out, enjoy the experience, hopefully enjoy the fans. The men had amazing fans out here. I was wowed by how many people are out here watching and just happy that I’m back in this position. I’m here representing my country. I’m a two-time Olympian and I’m living out my dream.”
