2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship: How much does it cost to play at St. Andrews?
The 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is being played at iconic St Andrews on the east coast of Scotland.
The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is the longest-running competition on the PGA European Tour and always brings together many of the world’s top players and over the next few days on the east coast of Scotland, the likes of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka will be in action in across three iconic links golf courses.
The action will span the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie Golf Links and Kingsbarns Golf Links, with 168 of the world’s top players taking part. After three rounds the field is cut and just 60 will remain for the final round on Sunday.
Day 1 action
South African Daniel Fichardt took full advantage of the lack of wind in Kingsbarns (Scotland) on Thursday to complete a solid card of 61 (eleven under par) on the first day of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with Jon Rahm continued the good golf of recent weeks with the Spaniard completing a round of 65 strokes in Carnoustie.

Golfers anxious to play at round at the Old Course at St Andrews initially need to enter a ballot with all spaces for 2025 already allocated and the club taking reservations for 2026.
For a round of 18 holes at the iconic course, for non-members, it costs about the same as your normal PGA Tour venue open to the public. Depending on the exchange rate, the peak green fee for 2024 is $408, in the high season from mid-April to mid-October. During the winter season, it falls to a low of £196 from November 1-March 31.
