At the halfway point, the first PGA TOUR event of the 2024 season in Maui, we see many birdies at The Sentry due to the favorable weather conditions. Playing conditions have been relatively calm, with only a typical island breeze of around 15 mph in the first two rounds.
Scottie Scheffler is leading the tournament at 16 under, with Tyrrell Hatton, Brendon Todd, and Sungjae Im in second place at 15 under. 13 players are just three shots or fewer behind Scheffler with 36 holes to play.

This creates an interesting scenario as the Plantation Course record of 61, held by three golfers who made it in 2022, could be broken on Sunday in Maui.
