2025 Sony Open in Hawaii: Round 1 Thursday tee times, pairings and featured groups

After victory at The Sentry last week, Hideki Matsuyama heads into the Sony Open as the frontrunner in the betting.

Following his record-breaking win at The Sentry, Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama is the bookmakers’ favorite for victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii, which gets underway in Honolulu on Thursday.

What are the Sony Open in Hawaii betting odds?

In last week’s season-opening event, which was also held in Hawaii, Matsuyama made history by finishing on 35 under par - the lowest ever 72-hole score at a PGA Tour event.

And having risen to world No. 5 in the wake of his triumph at The Sentry, the 32-year-old is now the +900 frontrunner for victory at Waialae Country Club, where he was victorious in the 2022 Sony Open.

Canadian Corey Conners, who came joint-fifth at The Sentry, is the +1600 second favorite heading into the Sony Open, ahead of Tom Kim and Russell Henley, who are both priced at +2000 to win the event.
