Commenting on the opening of the application process, Katie Simmonds, SIGA’s Global COO and Director of #SIGAWomen Programme, said:
“Each year I am overwhelmed by the quality of the applications we receive from aspiring female leaders in the sports industry and am impressed by the number of senior female leaders that commit as global mentors to the programme. This year SIGA is doubling its reach and aiming to deliver mentorship to 100 global mentees worldwide. I believe that we can achieve gender equity in the boardroom as I have witnessed the positive impact SIGAWomen has had on the lives of both the mentors and mentees. If you want to be part of the cultural change and usher long-lasting diversity and inclusion in the sports industry, apply now!”
