ATP reveal latest tennis rankings: Sinner, Alcaraz, Fritz, Shelton...
ATP rankings see a shuffle as big names sit out the Canadian Open, opening the door for climbers like Zverev and Davidovich.

Jannik Sinner remains at the top of the ATP rankings for another week, despite skipping the upcoming Canadian Open Masters 1000 tournament. Neither the Italian nor Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz or Serbia’s Novak Djokovic will feature in Toronto, but their absence won’t shake up the very top of the leaderboard.
Sinner holds firm with 12,030 points, stretching his reign at No 1 to 60 weeks – edging closer to Stefan Edberg’s 72, which places the Swede 11th in the all-time list of weeks spent at the top.
Right behind him is Carlos Alcaraz, still second with 8,600 points, followed by Germany’s Alexander Zverev with 6,030. Of the three, only Zverev is set to compete in Canada, making him the only one with a chance to add to his total this week.
Where is Fritz and Shelton in world tennis ranking?
Elsewhere in the top 10, American Taylor Fritz (fourth), Britain’s Jack Draper (fifth), and Novak Djokovic (sixth) all hold steady. But there’s upward movement from Ben Shelton, who hits a new career high at No 7, and Australia’s Alex de Minaur, who re-enters the top 10 following his title win in Washington.
Holger Rune and Lorenzo Musetti – who drops three places this week – round out the top 10 going into the Canadian Masters.
Further down the list, Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich makes a major leap. After reaching the final in Washington, he picks up 280 points to climb from No 26 to No 19 – marking the first time in his career he breaks into the ATP top 20 with 2,225 points.
