Update:

The Indianapolis 500 is, believe it or not, more than just a race. It’s a cultural phenomenon, a melting pot of people, ideas, fun and, most importantly, speed.

As said, it’s not just the cars and track, there’s also an EDM party that gets going once the sun dips behind the grandstand. Known as the 2025 Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit, the hype is real for this year’s event.

The official announcement came from IMS President J. Douglas Boles, who said that “The Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit continues to attract some of the world’s top talent in dance music, and it is one of the best events of the year for fans who attend. More than 20,000 people find their Indianapolis 500 Race Day experience in the infield where the sound of the 33 racing INDYCAR SERIES cars provide the backdrop for friends, music and dancing from an unforgettable location – the Snake Pit.”

Probably one of the best EDM festivals that is the best kept secret in dance music” said one Reddit user, while another called it a “fantastic time”; “if you haven’t experienced the Indy500 then go! Whether it’s the snake pit or the race there’s nothing like it”, wrote another.

Dance producer Illenium will headline the event with Sammy Virji, Two Friends, Kayzo and Oliver Heldens also set to perform. As for tickets, general admission and VIP wristbands for the Snake Pit are on sale for $55 and $160 at www.ims.com.
