For this night in Riyadh, the Mexican champion will be the main event, going up against the Cuban fighter, with the 168-pound titles on the line. The WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts will be contested during the early morning hours in Saudi Arabia. ‘Canelo’ is expected to enter the ring at 6:00 a.m. local time.
In the co-main event of the night, there will be another Mexican fighter. Jaime Munguía is seeking revenge against Bruno Surace, the Frenchman who humiliated him last December in his own hometown of Tijuana. This will be a key chance for the fighter from northern Mexico to finally claim a long-awaited victory.
