Carlos Alcaraz shows his support for Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham by copying his celebration

The tennis star is a known Real Madrid fan and he showed his support for the Bernabéu’s new star by copying his famous pose.

Once again, Carlos Alcaraz has shown his love for Real Madrid and this time, he has chosen to copy the new sensation who has every Madrid fan in love: Jude Bellingham.

Carlos Alcaraz made it to the semi-finals of the US Open after a stunning victory over Alexader Zverev in his quarter-final game of the last Grand Slam of the season. It was a well-fought battle against the German tennis star that warranted a huge celebration once it was over: Alcaraz, stood on the Arthur Ashe Stadium floor, chose wisely.

Arms out and eyes pointing to the sky, it was a celebration that has become famous in the Spanish capital thanks to the electric start that Jude Bellingham has made at Real Madrid. It was a moment that Carlos Alcaraz himself even chose to share on social media with a clear wink to the 2023 Kopa Trophy nominee that has the entire Bernabéu crowd swooning.

What did Alcaraz say about Bellingham?

Bellingham has started the season at Real Madrid in lightning form, and is already the league top scorer with 5 goals in 4 games. In the absence of Vinicius Jr, who is out for a number of weeks due to injury, the Englishman has stepped up and is dragging the team through the early moments of the domestic campaign with no issues whatsoever.

“Hey Jude!” wrote the tennis sensation, along with a photo of his pose, very similar to that of the midfielder when he scores goals, and with a clear allusion to the song by The Beatles, something that has followed Bellingham during his time as a player.

Who does Alcaraz play in the US Open semi-final?

Real Madrid’s next game is on September 17, against Real Sociedad, where once again they will step out onto the new, hi-tech Bernabéu pitch and look for 3 points to keep them at the top of the table. Before that, however, Jude Bellingham will likely feature for England in the international break where the Three Lions will look to move closer to qualification for Euro 2024, which will be held in Paris.

It was yet another wink from Alcaraz of his Madrid-supporting background, and another one to the new star of the team. Now, Alcaraz is looking forward to his semi-final clash against Daniil Medvedev in search of a place in the US Open final next Sunday... where he could face Novak Djokovic once again.
