Charles Schwab Challenge tee times: Thursday’s round 1 groups
Scottie Scheffler is back in action this weekend after his dominant win at the 2025 PGA Championship. Rory McIlory and Xander Schaufelle will be taking a break from the action in Texas this week.

It’s back to the grind at Colonial Country Club as players look to earn FedExCup points and a piece of the prize money between majors. The PGA Championship finished on Sunday and we’re already looking ahead to the U.S. Open, which will take place June 12 - 15 in Texas as well. Before then the PGA Tour has some interesting tournaments and courses for players and fans, including the Colonial Country Club this weekend.
Davis Riley got his first solo win here last year (he won the Zurich Open in 2023 along with Nick Hardy). Riley has had a pretty decent season so far with 10 made cuts, 4 top-25s, 3 top-10s and a T2 last week at the PGA Championship.
All eyes will be on Scottie Scheffler, but keep a look out for Jordan Spieth, Harris English, Daniel Berger and Brian Harman. The Block party is in town as well as Michael Block will be playing and hoping for bigger crowds to help him play his top golf this week.
