Former ATP No. 1: “If something were to happen to me, it’s all hers. She knows what I care about and vice versa. There’s a lot of trust”
Eight-time Grand Slam winner André Agassi has spoken of the deep “trust” he shares with wife Steffi Graf, a fellow tennis legend.

André Agassi has spoken of the “trust” that underpins his relationship with his wife, fellow former tennis star Steffi Graf.
“She knows what I care about and vice versa”
Talking on the Action Plan financial podcast, Agassi lifted the lid on the multimillionaire couple’s estate planning, telling host Rich Roll that he and Graf know exactly what each other’s needs are.
“If something were to happen to me, it’s all hers,” the 55-year-old said. “Because she knows what I care about and vice versa.
“And so she would take care of everybody and everything that she knows I would. So there’s a lot of trust in that.”
Asked what legacy he hopes to leave as a person, Agassi told Roll he wants anyone he has met to have benefited from the encounter.
“Are you better off for the time spent?”
“My hope would be that anybody that I contact with, whether it was 25-year marriage, whether it was my children, whether it was the waiter at the restaurant, for whatever time spent with me, they felt better off for it,” he said.
“On a small level or a big level. A meaningful level. Just are you better off for the time spent? I would have loved for everybody to be able to feel that way around me.”
Agassi and Graf, who have a combined net worth reported to be around $300 million, have been together since 1999. They married in October 2001 and share two children: son Jaden, born the year of their wedding, and daughter Jazz, born in 2003.
Agassi, who won eight Grand Slam titles during his tennis career, has frequently spoken publicly about his devotion to Graf, a 22-time major winner.
Notably, the American paid a memorably heartfelt tribute to the German during a 2004 speech at her International Tennis Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

“The person that has changed my life”
“As I attempt to find words worthy to introduce the person that has changed my life, I realise the words have yet to be invented that are large enough, colorful enough, or true enough to express the heart and soul of this woman that I love,” Agassi said.
