How much money has Jon Rahm made so far this year? 2023 Earnings for the golfer from Spain
Rhambo won his second majors at the 2023 Masters. He’s having an impressive year and it’s only April. Let’s take a look to see how much he has already racked up so far.

It’s been a banner year for Jon Rahm, and it just got much better. Rahm is currently ranked No. 1 in the world and first in the FedEx Cup. His year got off to a flying start, winning the Tournament of Champions and American Express, before two top-ten finishes at Farmers and Phoenix led to a blinding win at the Genesis Open where he pocketed $3.6 million for his victory. After coming in second place at the Mexico Open, his earnings for 2023 are now nearly $14.5 million. That’s a new PGA record and it’s only May 1!
On the way to setting records
This amount nearly doubles what Rahm earned in PGA Tour winnings for the whole of the year in 2021, where he totaled $7.7 million. He won the US Open, his first Major, that year. In 2022, he ranked 15th in terms of prize money won, with a tally of $5.25 million.
In 2022, Scottie Scheffler led the board in terms of winnings, setting a new PGA Tour record after amassing $14 million, which Rahm has just shattered after only one major in 2023 and with five months left of tournaments to play.

Bigger PGA purses
Aside from his outstanding performance thus far, Rahm’s elevated income is also a result of boosted PGA purses. Since there are many more events yet to take place this year, and he is required to compete in most of them, there is a big chance that the Spaniard will continue to rake it in.
Three of golf’s biggest tournaments are yet to be held. There will be high expectations of the 28-year-old to score a victory, and add to his one major title.
