How much prize money did Joe Highsmith win at at the 2025 Cognizant Classic?
While not a PGA Tour signature event, the tournament’s prize money purse of $9.2 million is appealing and Highsmith will be taking home a pretty penny.

Joe Highsmith has won the Coginizant Classic in The Palm Beaches with a final round of seven-under par (-7) to claim the title. He is the first player to win a PGA Tour event after making the cut on the number. The last player to do it was Brandt Snedeker at the 2016 Farmers.

The 2025 Cognizant Classic at the prestigious PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens played a little easier this week than everyone expected. Highsmith’s final score of -19 is a result of great golf, but also a course that played a lot easier than everyone had expected.
Although the Cognizant Classic is not officially designated as a PGA Tour signature event, it is the start of the Florida Swing and players will pocket some nice cash prizes and get some FedExCup points and work their way into some of the better known tournaments this Spring.
Jake Knapp started the final round in the lead, but after a triple bogey on No. 11, he dprpped back to 15-under par for the tournament. He made headlines on Thursday after shooting a 12-uner par 59, but wasn’t able to keep the lead at the end of play on Sunday.
