A sensational day three performance from Scheffler saw him soar to the top of the leaderboard after carding a 4-under 68 in tough conditions. He did not make a single bogey on Saturday, overtaking fellow American Ben Griffin atop the Memorial Tournament standings. He remained there for the remainder of the weekend.
