How much prize money does the winner get at the 2023 BMW Championship?

There are fifty players left in the season ending BMW Championship, among them defending champion Patrick Cantlay who is looking to pick up his third successive win.
He will have a tough time of it if he is to three-peat however, with Rory McIlroy in excellent form lately, as well as world number one Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm also in the hunt.
The total prize money on offer is $20 million, with the winner of the BMW Championship slated to pocket $3.6 million of that. As with the FedEx Cup, this tournament will not have a cut line, and all fifty players will continue on to place over the entire event.
