Russian MMA fighter Sharaputdin Magomedov caught on camera fighting in Dagestani mall
Police are investigating the incident that was filmed, as the MMA star appeared to take offense to a couple kissing.
Sharaputdin Magomedov, the up and coming star of Mixed Martial Arts is under investigation by authorities in Dagestani after a video emerged of an altercation he had with another man in a shopping mall.
A kiss appears to spark MMA’s Magomedov
The video below has gone viral and shows the moment that the two men interact on the escalator, following a brief kiss between the couple in front of Magomedov, who steps forward to remark.
As they all reach the end of the moving staircase, further comments are seen to be made before a fight breaks out. Shocked onlookers eventually split them apart, but that wasn’t the end of the matter.
More video footage suggests the MMA star waits for the other man at an exit where he attacked him, finally stamping on his head.
A report from Russian outlet Prosports.kz, stated that the two men may have been charged with a public order violation under the Russian Federation’s administrative code. The Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs advised that it was being looked into.
Who is Magomedov?
The fighter known as ‘The Bullet’ began his career in MMA back in 2017. He currently has a 10-0 record, moving from welterweight to middleweight and then light heavyweight. He was last seen competitively fighting earlier in the year at Arena Global 17 in Brazil.
