Scottie Scheffler will be aiming for a hat-trick of wins after he became the first player in the history of The Players Championship to win back-to-back tournaments last year.
In a dramatic final round in 2024, the New Jersey native fended off stiff opposition from Wyndham Clark, Xander Schauffele and Brian Harman who all had birdie putts on the 18th hole to force a playoff, but all missed leaving Scheffler to win.
