The ‘Gipsy King’ is already planning his comeback, but this time his opponent won’t be a boxer with great pedigree, but the giant Game of Thrones character.

Tyson Fury has stated to the media he is in talks to make his return to the ring in an exhibition bout vs. former World’s Strongest Man champion Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson.

Fury, 33, seeks to come back into action after defending his WBC heavyweight title against Dillian Whyte at Wembley.

“We are talking to his team at the moment and it is something I’m interested in”, Fury said, while many boxing fans are counting the days to see the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

“It would be great to get in there in front of, say, 70,000 fans and show him what boxing is all about, make him miss, and knock him out”, added Fury.

Fury is not interested in the Joshua-Usyk winner

Usyk will defend his WBA, WBO, and IBF belts against Joshua in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next month. However, Fury is not interested in facing the winner in an undisputed title fight.

“I’m not overly concerned with Anthony Joshua and Usyk in Saudi Arabia next month, whoever wins, because I’ve achieved everything I wanted to as a professional boxer, undefeated and having won all the belts,” he admitted.

Meanwhile, Bjornsson, who holds an unbeaten record of 2-0-2, defeated former strongman rival Eddie Hall via unanimous decision in March.

‘The Mountain’ also confirmed that talks are underway for a fight against the world heavyweight boxing champion: “There are some negotiations going on and some talks, but nothing is complete yet”.

The bout would likely take place at a London football stadium in November.
