The controversial LIV Golf tournament in Bedminster has a massive purse at stake that has attracted dozens of golfers, and now the tournament has added even more star power with celebrity participants.

The LIV Golf Bedminster pro-am competition will be held at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, and one of the famous faces that will play at the competition is the owner of the venue, former president Donald Trump.

Next up is 1993 NBA MVP and TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who has been reported to be considering becoming a host for the eventual broadcast of LIV Golf. Barkley has admitted that Greg Norman, LIV Golf Investments CEO has spoken with him regarding the job, and that he is still waiting for a concrete offer.

NFL defensive great Lawrence Taylor of the New York Giants and Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears will also be appearing at the event. Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner rounds out the celebrity list as of July 27.

Protesters will gather at Bedminster to protest the Saudi government’s connection with the competition, saying that holding the LIV Tour so close to where the 9/11 attacks took place was offensive and disrespectful.

The pro-am event will be held the day before LIV Golf’s third Invitational tournament begins.
