What did Tyson say about the new Hulu series about his life ‘Mike’?

Hulu is coming out with a limited series about the life of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, and Iron Mike isn’t happy about it.

Streaming service Hulu is scheduled to release a limited series on the life story of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, and “The Baddest Man on the Planet” has expressed his displeasure over it.

Tyson took to social media to criticize the platform, saying he does not approve of the series that they produced.

Mike Tyson: Hulu is Goliath

“Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life and didn’t pay me, they stole his life story,” he posted on Instagram.

“To Hulu executives I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.”

On Twitter, he wrote, “Hulu stole my story. They’re Goliath and I’m David. Heads will roll for this.”

Mike Tyson thanks Dana White

The 56-year-old also thanked UFC president Dana White for refusing to promote the unauthorized biography.

“Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life,” he tweeted.

“He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity. I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me.”

‘Mike’ to premiere his month

The limited series, called Mike, is scheduled for release on Aug. 25, with Trevante Rhodes in the title role. The show’s tag line is “You may know Tyson, but do you know Mike?” According to Hulu, the eight-episode series will show the ups and downs of Tyson’s personal and professional life.

The boxing legend had already spoken out against the show when it was being planned. When the company announced its production last year, Tyson said the unauthorized mini-series was a “tone-deaf misappropriation” of his life story.

Here is the official trailer of the limited series.
