Update:

Chris Gotterup stole the show during round two of the Genesis Scottish Open in North Berwick, Scotland, finishing with a sensational score of 61 strokes (-9). His performance catapulted him right to the top of the leaderboard - two strokes ahead of England’s Harry Hall and three ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick, Marco Penge and Sweden’s rising star Ludvig Aberg (-8), his closest competitors.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler carded a solid round of 68 (-3) while Rory McIlroy sank five birdies on his final nine holes to finish the day with a 65 (-5), and bring his tournament total to 133 strokes (-7), placing him firmly in the chasing pack heading into this weekend’s action.

Morikawa bows out, MacIntyre just creeps in

Defending champion Robert MacIntyre narrowly avoided elimination - he makes the cut, sneaking in in last place. The same can’t be said for Collin Morikawa (+4), J.J. Spaun (+2), Aldrich Potgieter (+2) and Sungjae Im (E) among the big names who failed to make the cut.
