For a man who was born a month premature and given little chance to live, Tyson Fury has come a long way since then. Indeed, the Brit has forged himself into one of the most feared heavyweight boxing champions in the sport’s history. To that end, you can probably imagine he’s made himself a pretty penny along the way.

What is Tyson Fury’s net worth?

According to celebrity net worth British/Irish boxer Tyson Fury currently has a net worth of $85 million. In a career that has seen him step into the ring on 35 occasions, registering just one loss, Fury has to date earned at least $100 million in upfront paydays and Pay Per View Bonuses. It is understood that his net worth at present also includes the $28 million minimum guarantee that he earned from his February 2020 rematch against Deontay Wilder and earnings from his April 2022 victory over Dillon Whyte.

Fury is, of course, best known for his heavyweight bout with Vladimir Klitschko in November 2015, when he became the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO, WBO, and The Ring unified heavyweight champion. What followed was a now infamous draw with He Deontay Wilder in December 2018 and the aforementioned rematch in February 2020. Interestingly, Fury was the subject of a Netflix docuseries in August 2023 entitled “At Home With The Furies.” As mentioned above, Fury’s story is actually quite incredible having been a little over a month premature. “The doctors told me there was not much chance of him living. I had lost two daughters in the same way, who had been born prematurely,” his mother Amber recalls. Yet, it was Tyson’s apparent fighting spirit that led his father John to choose his name, inspired by Mike Tyson who was at the time the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Now set to face Oleksandr Usyk On Saturday night, Fury will be participating in not just the biggest fight of his career, but one that will mark the first time that we will get an undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999. With the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF titles all on the line, it truly doesn’t get bigger than this.
